
Jerry Cowling of Brooksville, Florida, is the author of Lincoln in the Basement, a historical fiction, and Sins of the Family, a psychological thriller, and What the Dickens Happened to Scrooge, a play adaptation of A Christmas Carol. He graduated from East Texas University with a degree in journalism and English and spent ten years working for newspapers from Kingsport, Tennessee, to Dallas, Killeen and Temple, Texas. He now writes for the monthly newspaper Brooksville Belle. He is the secretary of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council. He is married with two children. In the last few years he had been diagnosed with REM (rapid eye movement) sleep disorder. Mr. Cowling is available for speaking engagements in Central Florida on the following topics:
